Digicel has today pledged a total $50,000 for the flood relief efforts, out of which $30,000 cash will go to the Prime Minister’s Flood Appeal.

Digicel says in these times of hardships faced by those affected by the natural disaster, it was only fitting they lend a hand.

Here’s Digicel Head of Sales and Distribution, Maurice McCarthy.

“We are donating $30,000 cash to the PM’s flood appeal and taking the balance of $20,000 and using that for critical supplies and distribute those to affected areas and work hand in hand with DISMAC to get this to people who need these the most.”

Also today, ANZ announced its donating a total of $75,000 to the PM’s appeal, selected local charities and Red Cross.
