Crowds arrive for FBC Fiji Day Free Concert

Spirits are high as crowds of people gathered to celebrate Fiji Day at Albert Park in Suva today.

Hundreds of people are staying on geared with mats and umbrellas ready for FBC’s Fiji Day Free Concert that kicks off at 2pm.

The Free Concert will feature live bands, dance groups, rides, face painting, giveaways and food stalls.

FBC Events Team Leader, Ruby Solanki says the free concert has something for everyone and is a great way for the young and old to enjoy their Fiji Day.

“The program starts at 2pm it goes on till 8 o’clock this evening and bands lined up we’ve got Knox, we’ve got the Maori Creative Arts all the way from Nadi, Vou Dance Group, Time Out, we’ve got Waikoula Kei Tavua and Via Ni Tebara. We’ve got amazing giveaways and prizes to giveaway so if you’re at home. And you’ve got nothing planned out this afternoon. Bring our mat, bring your picnic basket and come enjoy the free, beautiful concert that is on for today.”  

FBC Fiji Day Free Concert at Albert Park begins from 2pm to 8 tonight.
