A 38-year-old man charged with three counts of rape has been further remanded.

The accused appeared before Judge Justice Vincent Perera at the Suva High Court yesterday.

It’s alleged that between January 1st, 2016 to January 19th last year, the man raped his 18-year-old step daughter.

The court heard that the alleged incident happened in a settlement in Tailevu.

The State lawyer made an application to fix a trial date.

The case will be recalled on the 20th of this month.
