Consumer Council chief executive, Premila Kumar has resigned.

Council board chair, Raman Dahia says they have accepted her resignation.

Dahia says Kumar has been with the organization for 12 years, and during this period she lifted the image and visibility of the Council to a high level.

He adds the board appreciates and acknowledges her contribution.
