Namosi high chief Ratu Suliano Matanitobua has confirmed there are some differences amongst the people of namosi.

Ratu Suli says he will visit areas where there are disputes and ensure they are resolved.

He says one of the main causes of the dispute amongst the people is the proposed mining at Waisoi.

The Tui Namosi says he will concentrate on getting his people together as they await the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) report on the proposed mine.

He says the vanua will make its stand on the proposed mine after the EIA is out.
