The care and support of patients will need a holistic approach.

Those were the words of the Minister for Health and Medical Services, Jone Usamate while opening the new Board of Visitors Retail Centre and the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.

“We must realize that the care and support of patients will need a totally of approach. We can design the hospital environment so there is convenience and comfort for the sick and their families alike. This project is a prime illustration of that.”

Usamate says the Board of Visitors has a strong partnership with the Health Ministry to provide additional wellbeing support for people who are hospitalized.

Board of Visitors Chairman Bimlesh Prasad says the changes and renovation will provide the best health care in the region.

The Retail Centre consists of a grocery shop, a restaurant and a flower shop.
