“Budget being passed was expected”.

These are the words of Shadow Minister for Economy and Opposition Member of Parliament Aseri Radrodro following the intense debate on the national budget for the last four days.

Parliament passed the Government’s around four billion dollars budget last night.

”They got the numbers. But as Opposition we also took our time to scrutinize the budget on a given time.”

Thirty two parliamentarians voted for the national budget, fourteen voted against it while four did not vote.
