BSP has handed over a cheque of $110,000 to the Fiji Human Resources Institute in Suva today in commemoration of the institute’s 10th anniversary.

The Institution helps to provide leadership to individuals, organisations, government and country and promotes excellence in the field of human resources.

BSP General Manager Human Resources Howard Politini says the donation symbolises how important the area of human resource is in any company.

“This sponsorship over three years of $130,000 is no small one we don’t make too many of these but we put it where we believe it is important and our target is the human resources of this country.”

Politini says he hopes the funds would help the institute to uplift the competencies and professionalism of Fiji’s labour Force.
