BRED and ANZ announce interchange agreement

BRED Bank and ANZ have collaborated to provide their customers convenient and affordable access to each other’s ATMs and EFTPOS facilities across Fiji.

The two banks today announced an interchange agreement connecting the banks’ ATM and EFTPOS networks, allowing BRED customers access to ANZ’s 94 ATMs and more than 1400 EFTPOS terminals.

ANZ customers will also gain access to BRED Bank’s ATMs and EFTPOS terminals.

BRED Bank Fiji chief executive, Frederic Reynaud, says they know the customers are increasingly looking for ways to get more from the financial services industry and it is their commitment to provide services.

ANZ Fiji Country Head, Saud Minam, welcomed the partnership, saying that collaboration between banks was necessary to facilitate more secure and affordable access to electronic banking channels.
