Suva Retailers Association is thankful to many stakeholders that had contributed to beautifying the city in an effort to attract people back to Suva, however the need to push for more effort is paramount.
Association President Vinay Kumar says stakeholders such as Destination Fiji, Fiji Roads Authority, Suva City Council have no doubt in contributing into the improvement of the capital city.
Kumar says it’s vital that beautification must take place to only attract businesses but also tourists.
“There is a group called Destination Suva working with the Ministry of Tourism and trade and they trying to get more tourism to Suva having more cruise ships so all stakeholders form what I gather are working together and have seen some improvements, we have seen the bridge up and running and the flow is so good now it takes times but much better than before.”
