A woman in her 50s who is alleged to have assaulted an elderly relative has been charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

A video of the incident was posted and circulated on Social Media.

An investigation was conducted by officers at the Nadi Police Station when a report was lodged about the alleged incident.

The accused will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
