Air tests have confirmed that there is no danger to the public after the removal of asbestos-containing material from the old Nausori Market last month.

Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Jone Usamate, says air test results revealed that the area is clear of any airborne asbestos-containing material.

He adds this means the Nausori Town Council or any other contractor can access the immediate vicinity of the market and also the reopened Wainibokasi Road for use.
