Vodafone Fiji is advising the public that due to a high demand the $2 e-ticketing disposable cards are out of stock.

Vodafone Fiji recorded an unusually higher than forecast demand of these disposable cards last month.

However, it says they still have $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 disposable cards available.

Vodafone Fiji says it is working closely with its suppliers so that these cards are back in stock at the latest by January 25th.

The disposable cards are meant to cater for emergencies and one-off travel on the buses and to cater for visitors and tourists coming to Fiji.

It stresses the non-availability of two dollar disposable cards does not entitle commuters to a free travel.
