In an effort to promote healthy living, FRIEND Fiji today launched nine new organic products.

Director, Sashi Kiran says over the years they have been working with the farmers to help them become organically certified so that they are able to produce organic food.

Kiran says the products launched today are from farmers in Ra and Vanua Levu.

“We are training more organic farmers so hopefully in the next few months we will bring in a few more organic products. At the moment you will see a range of herbal teas.”

Kiran adds currently 1,400 farmers are involved in the production of the new organic products.
