Ba’s Yalalevu Football Club was crowned the Vodafone National Club Championship winners after beating Nailaga FC 1-nil in the final at Fiji FA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Ba football midfielder Malakai Tiwa scored the lone goal for the side.
Yalalevu Coach Shalen Lal says the players showed great commitment towards the championship.

“First time for us to represent Ba at the NCC level, I think the boys really did wonderful work. The senior and junior players both in the team they proved that all are worth to play for Ba.”

Yalalevu walked away with $5000 as prize money while runner up Nailaga FC were handed $1000.
