Fiji Volleyball is looking to focus on grassroots development for the rest of the year.

With a new board in 2020, the federation is focusing on recruiting a vast number of volleyball players.

President Liga Gukisuva says there are plans in place on those areas.

“We need to set a platform where in two years from now we have a large pool of players that we can choose from, the perfect plan was to start it from the school program. Unfortunately with this we have to relook at our plan and see what we going to implement once we’re goi0ven the clearance but tournament wise we will make sure that we fill out the quota that we plan to do this year”.

All sporting activities are currently on hold in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
