Verevou fined by Fiji FA

February 1, 2018 5:01 pm

The Fiji Football dispute tribunal have made a decision that Iosefo Verevou will miss six games at this season.

Speaking to FBC Sports, Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says Verevou has been fined five thousand dollars and also pay whatever cost that will be incurred by Suva.

“That’s the reason why we have sent a mid-transfer circular warning players to be careful because now every application for transfer is with statue declaration. They’re under oath where players says I want to move and they want to withdraw. ”

This means, Verevou will miss out for Rewa in their game against Nadi this weekend.

Meanwhile, in the only VPL match on Saturday, Labasa plays Dreketi, 1.30pm at Subrail Park and on Sunday Rewa host Nadi, 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
