Tavua upsets Rewa

The Tavua Football side made another upset in its Vodafone Premier League campaign after beating Fiji FACT champion Rewa at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park this afternoon.

The Delta Tigers led 1-nil at half time.

Their goal was scored by veteran midfielder Taione Kerevanua in the 30th minute of play.

Tavua made a comeback in the second half where they scored two goals which came from striker Atunaisa Livanilagi and Vilitati Kautoga.

Meanwhile, Labasa plays Dreketi at 7pm on Wednesday at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Tavua upsets Rewa

The Tavua soccer team caused the upset of the day in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League after beating Rewa 3-0 at Garvey Park.

Suva maintained their winning form to beat Nadroga 3-nil at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

The All Whites goals came in the second half through Joseph Mishra and Nathan Shivam.

Both teams remained scoreless at halftime.

Ba currently leads Savusavu 3-nil at Ratu Ganilau Park.

Men in Black reps, Osea Vakatalesau scored a double with the third coming in from Malakai Tiwa.

Navua and Nadi drew nil-all at Thomson Park.
