The Oceania Championship in Australia next month will be a good time for the Fiji Table Tennis team to gauge their stand ahead of the Commonwealth Games in April.

Fiji Table Tennis President Anthony Ho says despite not going to Japan for a one week training this week, this has not dampened their spirit as they prepare for the Championship.

“Due to some circumstances behind our control, we couldn’t go to Japan. However, we’re now focused on our training and going to the Oceania Championship which is to be held at the Commonwealth Games venue from the 15th to the 20th of March.”

Meanwhile, the team of five players will represent Fiji at the Commonwealth Games which runs through the 4th to the 15th of April in Gold Coast Australia.
