Suva women’s football team aims to be the first club to win the under 18 categories within the southern zone during the Vodafone under 18 women’s football league.

Suva team vice president Mary Berwick says their aim is to groom their players to be the best in what they do.

" I’m glad we have women’s participation in football and we aim to participate in the upper level as well."

Six teams will participate in the southern division with a total of 55 games to be played every weekend.
