Carpenters Fiji Limited has given the Suva Marathon a boost by signing on as the major sponsor for the next three years.

The event will now be known as the “Island Chill Suva Marathon.”

Suva Marathon Club executive member, Gina Houng Lee says such support goes a long way in assisting the club’s efforts to raise awareness on healthy living and combat non-communicable diseases.

“This will truly make it an event not only for Suva but for Fiji as well. Hopefully, we make this the premier running event on a national, regional and international level.”

The Suva Marathon will be held on the 8th of August, starting and finishing at My Suva Park in Nasese.
