Minister of Sports Laisenia Tuitubou has appointed a three-member committee to investigate the ongoing saga between Weightlifting Fiji and its club based in Levuka.
Fiji National Sports Commission Chairperson Peter Mazey, Fiji Sports Council Chief Executive Litiana Loabuka and a former sports permanent secretary are currently having meetings with the club and its lifters.
The letter also stated that the committee also had meetings with Eileen Cikamatana, Manueli Tulo and Apolonia Vaivai which has come out positive.
The club and its lifters earlier said they will boycott from all the international event if their demands are not met.
