South African winger Rosco Specman played his final sevens tournament in Cape Town this morning and is moving to ‘15’s.

Specman debuted his sevens career in 2014 and has been a phenomenal player for the Blitzbokke for the past four years.

The winger who scored three tries in Dubai last weekend says he has great respect for the Blitzbokke’s Coach.

First of all I just want to thank Coach Neil for this opportunity that he gave me. I was at the Pumas and he phoned me. He said Rosco I think you ready now. I came in 2014, played my first game against Kenya.

Specman featured in 150 matches for the South Africa 7s team, scored 380 points and 70 tries.

He joins South Africa’s Bulls rugby side in Super Rugby next season.
