The Rewa football side will be without coach Marika Rodu at the Vodafone Fiji Fact final against Labasa this weekend.

Rewa President Mohammed Nazeel confirms that Rodu suffered a fractured shin while playing a futsal game last night.

Nazeel says veteran defender Lorima Dau will be acting in Rodu’s position and will be calling the shots during the final.

“We will meet tonight and decide on who will take up the coaching role. It’s a great loss for Rewa losing someone like Rodu.”

He says Dau is expected get advice from Rodu on the make-up of the team in the final.

Meanwhile, Rewa will host Labasa at 2pm Sunday at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch the live commentary of the match on Radio Fiji Two.
