Pacific rivalry in Fiji-Tonga clash

December 1, 2015 11:03 pm

Pacific rivalry will be at its best when the Vodafone Fiji Under-20 side meets Tonga in the Oceania Rugby Junior Trophy decider this weekend.

The two teams have remained unbeaten after two matches.

Fiji team manager, Dan Domoni says it will be hard to select the team to face Tonga after the side trounced Vanuatu 109-6 yesterday.

“Since we have only three games, we have got to rotate the boys and then hopefully we will pick the best team for the game against Tonga.”

Fiji will take on Tonga at 3pm on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium with the winner to qualify for the Junior World Trophy in Zimbabwe next year.

At 1pm, Vanuatu will take on Papua New Guinea in a dead-rubber match.
