Fiji Rugby Union chief executive Radrodro Tabualevu is eager to get to the bottom of the debacle that is threatening to disrupt the Skipper Cup competition.

He made the comments after Nadroga Rugby Union’s threat to boycott its semi-final clash against Suva next weekend due to operational matters.

Tabualevu says he hopes the unions and FRU can come to a swift solution.

“We have invited the unions to a meeting tomorrow to sit around the same table as a family and resolve our differences. There are causes for discussion and as you say, Rugby House has been going through major changes, a restructure in the last year and perhaps this is an opportune time to bring people in so that we can sit and talk about the changes that have been happening as well as the aspirations for the future.”

Tabualevu took up his new post from today.
