Fijian-born winger Taqele Naiyaravoro scored a a double to help the Waratahs hammered Sunwolves 77-25 in Sydney last night.
This was the Waratahs third win by more than 50 points against the Sunwolves and it is also the most points the Sydneysiders have scored in a Super Rugby match.
The triumph means that Daryl Gibson’s side have booked their place in the knockout stage with a round still to play and they will finish at the top of the Australian Conference.
Fijian-born and Sunwolves outside back Semisi Masirewa was red carded for a tip-tackle on Bernard Foley.
Meanwhile, Chiefs secured a hard-fought 24-19 victory over the Brumbies.
