The Naitasiri Rugby union will select their extended squad in the upcoming inter zone trials next weekend.

Wainimala, Vunidawa, Waidina, Naitasiri South are the four zones which will compete in the trials.

Head Coach Koli Sewabu says players will need to prove themselves in-order to make the cut into final team.

“There’s going to be balance of current experienced players plus looking at development as well as the long run so we will also be looking at bringing in new players for this year we already have our core squad from last year but in saying that there is no guarantee for their places they all have to meet our selection criteria in order to make the Naitasiri team this year.”

The Naitasiri rugby union hopes to at least win a title this season.
