Nadi to meet Rewa in the BOG final tomorrow

The Nadi Football side will meet Rewa in the final of this year’s Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants at Churchill Park tomorrow.
Nadi beat host Lautoka 3-1 in the penalty kicks after both teams were locked nil all in the full time and in the extra time.
Nadi goalkeeper Vereti Dickson was the hero of the side stopping three spot kicks.
Dickson says it was a sweet victory and dedicated the win to his new-born son.
“I’m so happy with what we’ve achieved tonight and want to dedicate this win to my family especially to my wife who just gave birth to our new baby and now we have to focus our game tomorrow.”
Nadi coach Yogendra Dutt says, his side played a much improved game but recovery will be an issue tonight.
“I think this was the best game ever where both teams played and how they approaching the game was wonderful. I congratulate my team and we need to take a good rest tonight before the final tomorrow.”
Nadi striker Rusiate Matarereqa kicked the winning penalty in the game.
