The Nadi football side made a winning start after beating Suva 2-1 in its opening match of the Courts Inter District Championship match at ANZ Stadium this evening.
Rusiate Matarerega puts Nadi first in the lead 1-0 while Waisake Navunigasau equalized for Suva.
Imraan Shah then scored Nadi’s second goal to seal the victory.
Both teams failed to score in the second spell.
Meanwhile, looking at tomorrow’s Senior Division matches, Nadroga plays Navua at 10am at ANZ Stadium, Savusavu battles Taleivu Naitasiri at the same time Buckhurst Park. Taveuni meets Seaqaqa at 12pm while Lami takes on Rakiraki at 2pm.
In the Premier Division, Nadi battles Tavua at 12pm, Ba meets Nasinu 2pm, Lautoka takes on Labasa at 4pm while Suva plays Rewa 6pm.
