Former Ba football striker Samuela Nabenia is expected to inject more fire power Lautoka’s strike force as they aim to defend the Courts Inter District Championship at ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Nabenia helped Ba win the Battle of the Giants earlier this year and is expected to combine well with players like Samuela Drudru and Benjamin Totori in the Blues camp.

Lautoka won the IDC title last year when they defeated Ba 5-4 in the penalty kicks at Churchill Park.

The side has played in 26 finals and has won 17 of it since tournaments inception in 1938.
