Ministry conducts sports clinic at North

Youths and sports enthusiasts in the north can now officiate in sports tournaments and also display the best skills provided with a good playing field.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is conducting clinics in the North to help the rural sportsman develop skills and become sports administrators.

Principal Sport’s officer Elesi Ketedromo says the programs have been very successful.

”The programs have been successful because it has helped us identify those who are now at national level representing our country in sports and it has been very beneficial and getting people to know the benefits of sports when we facilitate rural and community based programs."

This is a better way to promote sports to the areas that have never had access to sports education and develop sporting skills.
