Medals in five sportsup for grabs today

With just a day to go before the 2015 Pacific Games comes to an end, medals will be handed out across five sports today in Papua New Guinea.

Apart from the soccer final between New Caledonia and Tahiti, Fiji meets PNG in the bronze medal play-off.

In the final night of the athletics, the 4X100m relays will be the highlight, while there will also be medals on offer in men’s shot put, women’s standing para-shot put, men’s and women’s long jump, women’s 3000m steeplechase and the men’s 400m hurdles.

Seven gold medals are up for grabs in taekwondo and the
squash mixed doubles gold and bronze medals will also be decided.

Golf also continues along with lawn bowls, boxing, netball, volleyball and beach volleyball semifinals and hockey playoffs are also on the card.
