Former Samoa rugby skipper Pat Lam hopes to see more Tier One nations playing against Pacific teams.

With the New Zealand All Blacks touring Samoa in July, he says Fiji and Tonga could also do with such tours.

He hopes the tour by the All Blacks would encourage other top teams to play in Samoa and Tonga and Fiji in the future.

Lam says not only would such games generate much-needed revenue for the unions, it would present them with the opportunity to tackle higher ranked sides with home advantage.
