Kate Carpenter resigns

Fiji Netball Association today announced the resignation of Fiji Pearls coach Kate Carpenter.

FNA President Wainikiti Bogidrau confirmed that the Association received Carpenters’ resignation earlier this week.

Carpenter joined Fiji Netball in September, 2014, to a hectic Fiji Pearls program inclusive of the Digicel Punjas Super League program, identifying talent for the national squads, preparing the national team for its international assignments inclusive of the historic Oceania Test Series that involved the New Zealand Silver Ferns, training tours to play the ANZ franchise teams in Waikato and Melbourne, the Pacific Games in PNG, and the Netball World Cup in Sydney.

Carpenter, who is originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, flew out of the country yesterday.

Bogidrau said the Association would advertise the position of national coach in early January, both locally and abroad.
