Vodafone Flying Fijians halfback Nikola Matawalu says most of the hard work being put in by the players will pay off when the team for the Rugby World Cup is announced.

Matawalu is one of the front runners for a spot in the final 31-member team.
He says it has been an exciting few weeks and the excitement of being part of the team to the World Cup is second to none.

“I always say everyone works hard and we try to all go for the number nine jersey. For us hard work has been the key for all of us now it’s for the coaches to choose who will be the nine jumper for the Rugby World Cup.”

The final team will be announced in Suva on Friday night.
