Money has always been an issue with Fiji’s biggest sporting house when it comes to sponsorship.

FRU chief executive officer Manasa Baravilala says they need a huge amount of money to take them for the North tour at the end of the year.

“One of the challenges is sponsorship as you we’re about to embark on this northern tour to UK and we need a million dollars to just get on the plane and other social costs too are included.”

He adds they will need to change from club mentality to professional in order to introduce players to play at an elite level.
