The Vodafone Premier League match between Suva and Labasa this weekend has been postponed to next week.

Fiji Football competition manager Amitesh Pal says this is due to the conditions of the grounds.

Pal says they are unable to secure Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park and Suva’s ANZ Stadium because it will be used for the rugby competitions on Saturday and it will really affect the condition of the grounds due to the current weather conditions.

He says they do not want to risk any player and also avoid extra expenses.

Meanwhile, the game between Lautoka and Nadi will go on.

Lautoka hosts Nadi at Churchill Park at 3pm Sunday.
