Navua and Nadroga have qualified for the semi-final of the senior division at the Courts Inter District Championships underway in Nadi.

This after Navua beat Seaqaqa 3-1 this afternoon in Pool B. Goals for Navua came from Manav Permal, Vinit Chand and Sharad Kumar.

The win leaves Navua on six points, and Nadroga which beat Tailevu Naitasiri 2-0 earlier today is also on the same points.

The two meet tomorrow which will decide the pool placing ahead of the semi-finals.

Navua team manager Rohit Deo says they are pleased to have made the semi-finals and the aim coming into the tournament was to maintain the 100 per cent winning record they have kept from last year’s IDC.

He adds the aim now is to top the pool after tomorrow.

Lami leads Pool A with four points after its 0-0 draw with Savusavu.

Savusavu is also on four points.

Dreketi and Northland Tailevu have a point each after ending their games in a 2-all draw.
