The past five years for Navua Football president, Rajiv Prasad has been a roller-coaster ride.

However, all the sacrifices have paid dividends as Navua is back in the  Premier Division after winning the senior league play offs.

The jubilant president says the entire Navua community is looking forward to the Courts IDC tournament next month.

“I am very excited about it and looking forward to be in the premier division, the place where Navua really belongs to.”

Navua rep Alfred Ali who has been instrumental for them says he expects to continue his fine performance.

“Most probably they want us…. me to score goals this Sunday, and it will be a good game for the team.”

Navua will face Lami in its final senior league match this Sunday at 3pm at the Uprising Beach Artificial Turf in Pacific Harbour.
