The Fiji Football Association have recruited more development officers and referees in Fiji to meet the demand of competitions around the country.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says these development officers and referees have been recruited in the Western and Northern Division and they’re hoping to recruit more in the New Year.

“We have recruited one in Labasa and so there will be three there and two for men’s and one for women’s and we’ve appointed a referee coordinator for the West to develop cadet referees especially.”  

Yusuf says they will be going around conducting training and development programs next year to ensure they have qualified officials.
