Flying Fijians slowly getting back to form in England

September 3, 2015 6:39 pm

The Vodafone Flying Fijians are slowly getting back to the rigors of training since arriving in London two days ago.

Only 15 days remain until Fiji’s opening Rugby World Cup match against hosts, England and coach, John McKee says it’s been good to see the player’s shake off the travelling bug and continue from where they left off from the Pacific Nations Cup.

“We just want to put some intensity into it since we haven’t trained over the past six days and haven’t played a match since the PNC.”

The Flying Fijians had an open session in training yesterday, allowing fans to sit on the sidelines and watch the players go through the hard yards.

Fiji will face Canada in a warm-up match on Monday before taking on England in the World Cup opening match on September 19th at 7am.

You can watch that match live on FBC TV.
