October 27, 2015 6:13 pm

The Fiji Surfing Association is seeking the services of an international coach for the first time.

Fiji Sports Commission chairman, Peter Mazey says the surfing body made a submission to the Commission under the overseas coaching grant to secure an international coach.

“Next year we have a request from surfing for an international coach. A lot of our young surfers are doing very well on the international circuit. That’s a professional circuit much like the rugby is now becoming a circuit so we are hoping we can assist with that.”
