The Fiji Pearls Netball team will not have time to rest after returning from the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea last night.

The Gold medalist squad get back onto their flight to New Zealand tomorrow morning to face the Silver Ferns later this week.

Coach Kate Carpenter says this is a big ask for the girls and they are ready for it.

“We play the Silver Ferns on Thursday so that is a huge step up. So yeah a huge turn around for us as we get back to the courts in Wellington this Thursday.”

Meanwhile the Netball World Cup will be held in Australia next month.
