The Fiji Football Association will spend close to $450,000 to send the Vodafone Fiji under 23 side to a tour of Spain in January.

Team Director Tarunesh Reddy says they will play five matches on the tour against development teams of the Spanish La Liga.

Reddy adds the general public should realize the effort Fiji FA is putting to prepare the team for the Olympics next year.

The cost will be used from Fiji FA’s annual budget and the team leaves for Spain on the 13th of January.

The Rio Olympics will be held in August next year in Brazil.
