The Vodafone Fiji football side held Wellington Phoenix to a 2-all draw in the return match at Govind Park.

Phoenix raced to an early 2-0 lead in the first half through Justin Gulley (13th minute) and Kwabena Appiah (15th minute), which the Kiwis took into halftime.

Fiji came storming back in the second spell with a goal each to captain, Roy Krishna and Ilimotama Jese.

Krishna was awarded the man of the match for his scintillating performance.

In the earlier match, the Wellington Phoenix Academy side defeated the Vodafone Fiji under 23 side, 3-1.
