Fiji 7s team arrives in South Africa

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has finally reached South Africa for the second tournament of the Sevens World Series.

The side after completing a nine hour flight to Cape Town will take a deserved rest before heading for the first training run later tonight.

Fiji 7s team manager Ropate Kauvesi says, the coach NacanieliCawanibuka is expected to go through a review on the players performances before naming the final 12 for Cape Town 7s on Thursday.

“We will name the best 12 by Wednesday (South Africa time) once Naca goes through the team and the session this week and the plan will be the same we will once again go attacking the title as we got nothing to lose.”

Fiji kicks off its Cape Town 7s campaign against Japan at 11.05pm on Saturday.

They then take on Kenya at 2.06am on Sunday before playing France in the last pool game at 6.12am.
