Celebrations continue for the Digicel Fiji 7s team’s Gold Coast win.

This time it’s through a one day visit to Plantation Island off Nadi where the staff and guests are treating the team.

Event organizer, Miri Soqosoqo says the team’s presence has excited everyone on the island.

“What we have just done was a big meet and greet at the pier and we’ve completed a traditional welcome and now the guests are just all over the team, they want signatures, they want hugs and basically celebrate the win with the team.”

Directors of Plantation Island invited the national team over earlier this week for the one-day trip.

Come Wednesday, it will be back to business for the team starting with a fitness test in preparation for the Dubai 7s next month.
