Football fans have been urged to purchase tickets early to avoid missing out on the start of the semi-final at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants this weekend.

The first semi-final will be played at 3pm between All Freight Logistics Suva and Rewa, while at 5pm, Ba battles Lautoka.

Pre-sale of tickets has started at the Fiji Sports Council office at Laucala Bay in Suva.

Fiji Football Association chief executive Bob Kumar says fans need to decide on what is the best option for them.

“Some people have been saying that the ticket prices are a bit high but the choice is theirs as we have tickets ranging from $15 to $8. Not everybody is required to get one certain ticket and if they think the prices are high they can buy the ticket they can afford, which is $8, $10 or $15 and the choice is theirs. It’s not like we are making it compulsory for them to buy the $15 tickets.”

The final will be played on Sunday at 3pm, before which the third place play-off takes place at 1pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of the semi-finals and the final on Radio Fiji 2 with the voice of football Raymond Stoddart.
