The Eastern zone secondary school 7s tournament will kick off at Nukuvuto grounds at Queen Victoria School tomorrow.

School Principal Filimoni Waqa says 12 teams from schools in the eastern zone will be battling for a place in the national 7s tournament next weekend at Suva Grammar School grounds.

Schools will be featured in the under 16, under 18 and the under 19 grades.

“4 teams from each grade, all those who reach the cup semi-final will qualify to be representing the zone to the national finals”.

Top teams in the eastern zone include Queen Victoria School, Ratu Kadavulevu School and Lelean Memorial School.

The tournament kicks off at 9am.
